About me

Destiny Itano is multiracial Asian American knitwear designer and knitting teacher, who is also owner/operator of Seattle Yarn, in Seattle, Washington. Her designs reflect her love of texture, color, and story while her shop reflects her love of community and inclusivity. Destiny designs the way she likes to knit sometimes for ease and comfort, sometimes for the challenge of something new and this means she creates designs for all different types of knitters.
